2015 in Review

2015 was another busy year! As in previous years, here are some highlights from the last twelve months. Cheers to 2016!- I wrote music for three episodes of SoulPancake's "Class Act", a fantastic series profiling California public school teachers. Here's the first episodehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1dBa6f0qyk- Another video I did with Soulpancake and director Ben Shelton in collaboration with ConAgra, called "Kids Respond to World Hunger":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwIuOVJAn-0- I scored the fun comedy short film "Totally Cool":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXjA5j4mHHk- "Fire City: End of Days" was released on iTunes and Amazon, even appearing on the top banner of the iTunes store!- Early in the year I scored the powerful short film "Battle" for Irish director Megan K. Fox.- Continued string quartet and string orchestra arrangements and recording with my company Short Order Strings.- I was particularly busy with library and production music. Unfortunately this means less stuff to showcase here on the site. But highlights did include working with Whatnot Industries on the shows Kings of the Nerds and Separation Anxiety, and many new tracks for a collection of great libraries.- New music was added to my profile on Audiojungle.- I continued to teach an international group of private students via Skype. More information about my composition lessons can be found here.
